These animations were developed by Jive Media Africa for the Science Platform Months, promoted by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The Science Platform Months are divided into four broad areas: African Origins, Antarctica, Astronomy, and Biosciences.

Jive Media Africa, in partnership with Madam & Eve, conceptualised and produced a national campaign for the total solar eclipse 2002.
Print products were distributed through most national newspapers, and television inserts awere flighted on SABC Education.
